A self-diagnosed jack of all trades, Ryan Pietrowski pushes the boundaries of what design can do. He uses print and web based as a tool for social change. Interning at Hanson in Toledo as a Visual Designer for the past year, Ryan has furthered his knowledge on interactive design. His specific interests are in typography and screen-printing; however, his favorite era of design is modernism. His main philosophy is to create for those who need it without interrupting those who don’t. Aside from his works in the field of design, he has a strong interest in music production, photography, and fashion. All of which have been explored throughout his time here at BGSU.
After graduation, Ryan hopes to continue his work as a designer while exploring his interests in music production and fashion on the side. Hopefully after school he can begin spending less money on clothing and invest in mutual funds.
